Court Closures in Victoria
Special Report No. 4 made a number of recommendations regarding management efficiency issues relating to the closure of court houses in Victoria. The audit provided comments on many aspects of the activities of the then Department of Conservation, Forests and Lands, the former Department of Crown Lands and Survey, and the Law Department in relation to the closure of courts from 1965 to the date of the review.
