VAGO GRADUATE RECRUITMENT PROGRAM

The Auditor-General provides assurance to Parliament on the accountability and performance of the Victorian public sector.

To achieve this, VAGO carries out over 650 financial audits and numerous performance audits across a diverse range of portfolios including infrastructure, health, education, water, local government, insurance, justice, treasury and superannuation.

PERFORMANCE AUDIT – ALL DISCIPLINES

Graduates of other disciplines who wish to take up a graduate position within VAGO’s Performance Audit group do so as part of the Victorian Public Service Graduate Scheme. Graduates entering this scheme are employed by VAGO and then rotate through two more government departments throughout their first year. You are then guaranteed a position with VAGO upon successful completion of the program.

Our financial audit group is seeking graduates with qualifications that will enable them entry into the ICAA or CPAA. We are also seeking graduates from a broad range of disciplines for our performance audit group.
